About Me

"It's the Story ............ and the Storyteller" ___________________________________________________________B ass player with the Paul deLay Band, among several others. Has worked or performed with: Lloyd Jones Struggle, Terry Robb, Bill Rhoades and the Party Kings, Jim Mesi Band, J.C. Rico Armed and Dangerous, Margo Tufo, Curtis Salgado, Duffy Bishop, Rod Price (Foghat), Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Charlie Musselwhite, Gary Primich, the Dover Weinberg Quartet, Jimi Bott, Doyle Bramhall, Reggie Houston, Charles and Charmaine Neville, Jimmy "T99" Nelson, David Vest, Big Monti, John "Juke" Logan, Jim Byrnes, Mike Barfield, Mark Hummel, Mitch Woods, Paul Whistler and several others too numerous for these old brain cells to remember. There are two reference articles (one pending) at cascadeblues.org. I deeply love and respect the Blues. It is a legacy I cherish and am proud to carry on. And now, for a little digression, a little venting, and, hopefully, a point: It's okay to be passionate, but passion is only pointless motion if there is no purpose underlying it. It's easy to get suckered into believing that we are powerless, insignificant, little creatures. If there is an evil in this world, it would be either pushing or accepting that kind of tripe. How about finding our honest significance? Treating our fellow humans as if God did exist and that God existed in each of us? The lowliest and the least of these is most likely Jesus (literally or metaphorically) testing us. We all have a commitment to each other, spoken or unspoken, as human beings thrown into the primordeal soup of survival we call "LIFE". How much easier it would be, if we would act upon the principled instinct of caring for and about each other. It would translate into health, wealth, peace, and true spiritual joy. Thanks for caring enough to read this far. ___________________________________________________________ SCHEDULE OF GIGS ---- CHECK THE MY SPACE SITE: PAUL DELAY BAND ___________________________________________________________
