The Dozie Joe Band

Our band has no bad songs, just unrefined

About Me

The members of the Dozie Joe Band-Chris Jones on drums, Randy Beal on bass and rhythm guitar, and Bubba Lee Spear on lead and rhythm guitar, and blues harp, In the year around 2003-04 these three guys got together and started jamming at Bubba's house were he had a home studio, hardly a weekend went by that we didn't jam, every time that we got together we made up a new song, our creative juice's were always flowing, and there were a lot of songs that we did together that was not recorded, more than likely lost for ever, but there are a lot that we did record, and this site is dedicated to these songs, and as quoted by Chris "The Dozie Joe Band had no bad songs, just unrefined" and this was said not because of ego, but because of fact, you see every weekend we wanted to out-do the weekend before, and most of the time we did, a lot of our songs we played perfect , at practice, and we would record it, and we had a hiccup, with in a year we faded out, went our separate ways, and never got to master our tunes, but until recently, Bubba and Chris have been wanting to get back together again, we both miss the jams and the good times, now we just need to find Randy, he moved and I don't know were, but until then please join us in the love of music,,,,,,,,Bubba Lee Spear
