Women Who Rock PDX

"Women’s music is underrepresented"

About Me

~ Women Who Rock, a showcase dedicated to woman musicians in the Portland-area in the rock, folk-rock, and Americana genres, takes place in three venues in Portland each month. Each show features three to four female fronted acts, both solo and with bands.

~ There are phenomenal woman musicians in the Pacific Northwest, and in the indie music scene, women's music is underrepresented. WWR wants to change this.

~ The popular series began October 2006 at The Green Room and has continued without pause through to this month, packing out several venues.

~ Women Who Rock is booked, hosted and presented by Eric Kotila, a local native of Portland and musician who has played percussion for many local acts in town.
