Gabriel Vivas was borne in El Paso TX and raised in Caracas Venezuela. Later, he moved to south FL where he develop his career and experience playing with the best session players and traveled the world with named artists in the latin, brazilian, pop and jazz genres.
Gaby has performed with such great jazz and latin musicians like Sammy Figueroa, Othello Mollyneux, The legendary Tito Puente, Juan Pablo Torres, Ira Sullivan, Melton Mustafa, Nestor Torres, Patato Valdez, Antonio Adolfo and many more great musicians.
He has also performed and/or recorded with many great latin pop artists like Shakira, Chayanne, Ilan Chester, Luis Enrique, Raul D'blasio, Fernanda Porto, Leo Gandelman among others.
Gabriel Vivas is not only a bass player, but also a song writer and producer, he plays all the basses including the electric six string bass, fretless bass and acoustic bass.
