About Me

.. Nicky Orta is an electric bassist on the South Florida music scene. He has performed/recorded with many jazz artists including Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Toots Thielemans, Othello Molineaux, Sammy Figueroa, and Paquito D'Rivera. He has also worked with Latin/pop artists like Gloria Estefan, David Bisbal, Alexander Pires, Alejandro Fernandez, and Julio Iglesias.
Nicky is also an instructor at Florida International University where he teaches electric bass.
