Introduction
A history of the company and an introduction to our service
Crimson Guitars was formed in March 2005 by Ben Crowe (previously Managing Director of Scorpion Guitars Ltd).
Ben grew tired of the soulless sterility of the 'mass-production work ethic' employed at Scorpion and has set out to produce ABSOLUTE ONE-OFF bespoke instruments and runs, limited to just ten instruments of any design belonging to the company. Also offered are hand-built after-market parts, for example a neck built to the customers specs, and a comprehensive repair/restoration service.
Bens 'no-holds barred' approach to design, and a free two hour initial planning consultation, ensure that his clients receive an instrument that is as unique as their original vision while keeping the price within that defined by high-end production instruments
Our commitment to design and finish excellence is second to none, Ben's training was two years building baroque guitars and violins etc. and many more years as a gigging musician. Combine this with a rigorous build schedule and you could have your dream instrument within six to eight weeks of the deposit being paid.
