Adam Moore and Evesound Music

About Me

The word.
In the beginning Adam Moore (me), guitarist and songwriter extraordinaire, began. He began with many notes played close together and feet spread far apart. At this time the album Curious Liquid did come to pass and it was jolly good and indeed rather curious. The music was most bountiful and a radiant shower of tones and beats and slides and bends and swirly bits did rain down upon the gathering multitude and other such hackneyed biblical references. Then one day the notes did begin to move further apart, rather like planets in an ever-expanding universe...possibly. At the same time the feet did move closer together. This inexorable motion marked the end of the beginning.
Then the beginning began again.
It is a fact well known to those who know it well that tasteful, mature guitar playing is a rare delight indeed and a bit of a bugger to track down. Luckily, measurements of feet separation and notes nearness may be certain indicators of its presence. Adam (me...hello) even managed to find enough space in this new universe to sing in the gaps...unthinkable. The unthinkable thought Misty Mornings and Market Towns into existence. The music is magnificent, magical, magnanimous, magnetic, its artwork Magna Carter-like and so on and so forth.
Now, good people of the universe, the beginning has begun again with Endless Clamour. Time had told and a deep, warm, smooth classiness has descended upon the world of Adam Moore and his musicings. So, come, experience a very calm man's view on a very clamuorous world.
Evesound Music exists to ensure that beginnings may occur at any time and in any way.
History so far.
Hello there, my name is Adam Moore and I am the creator/director of Evesound music and, for now, its primary artist. I was born in Norfolk, England in February 1980 and have been playing guitar and making music since I was eleven years old. My first proper instrument was a white Marlin acoustic guitar with a maple neck, given to me by my parents. I still play slide on it today. I learned to play by taking lessons from local guitar players and was lucky enough to find some really excellent teachers. Since then I've has been influenced by all those lovely people and things you see on the left of this page, and lots more besides. I went on to learn many more songs, lots of chords and scales, practiced like stink and now focus on turning that knowledge into the kind of songs that turn heads, cause the foot to tap, the air guitar to ring out and possibly a tear to fall. I think I'm just about getting there now so have a listen to the tracks I've uploaded and let me know what you think.
I have a degree in Sociology and a Masters in Music, been on a couple of Guitar Craft courses, and pay the bills by teaching music in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and gigging with various bands.
Over the years I've acquired quite a cool collection of guitars; they include an early 90s Strat Plus, a 7-Up Green Clapton Strat, a custom-built Strat with blue and white Richard Fay Swirl, an Ibanez Jem 7PBK, a Gibson ES175 and a super-rare SJ200, a Taylor 555 and a few others.
All the recordings I've made have been home recordings put togther with my brother Matt who is an extraordinary engineer and producer. We use two small rooms, a couple of PCs, some Rode mics, Cubase VST 5.1 and our ears.
If you like these tunes you can pick up my CDs from the website: www.evesound.com.
