DVD: Remember That Night... (2007)
David's double-disc set, documenting the On an Island tour.
Disc one includes 23 songs, all of them recorded live at London's historic Royal Albert Hall in May 2006. Disc two is full of extras, including bonus tracks, promo videos, documentaries... and more.
A Blu-ray version is also available in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, the UK, Ukraine and US.
Studio album: On an Island (2006)
David's third solo album, released on his 60th birthday.
With orchestrations by renowned Polish composer, Zbigniew Preisner, and a luminous production, assisted by Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera, the album is David's most successful to date.
Guest artists include David Crosby and Graham Nash (harmonies), Robert Wyatt (cornet), Alasdair Molloy (glass harmonica), Caroline Dale (cello), and Pink Floyd's Richard Wright, on Hammond organ.
The songs tell of shared experiences; from the hauntingly beautiful title track, to the meditative 'The Blue', as well as the heavier rock and blues number, 'This Heaven'. Listen to all three above.

Disclaimer
Sorry to disappoint you and all that, but David rarely looks at his MySpace page. Questions will not be answered, so please don't expect a reply. David does, however, look at his
Blog , so you might prefer to leave a message there instead. Comments containing links may be deleted, blatant self-promotion, too. This is the only official David Gilmour page on MySpace; the others are not official. There is no official Pink Floyd page, either. And no, David does not have a page on Facebook. Finally, creative use of the keyboard to make pretty pictures is very clever, but also very annoying. 40 lines of squiggles, dashes and dots may mean that a perfectly good comment is deleted. Please consider this before submitting anything. Thanks for reading.
