About Me

... The CDs Are Here!...The CDs Are Here!..., did I happen to mention the CDs are here? More details @: Official CoelacanthDance site CoelacanthJAM! Samples from our recent jams & rehearsals can now be heard at the Official CoelacanthDance site About Coelacanths: "One of the more fascinating finned creatures to enter the collective consciousness of popular culture, the prehistoric coelacanth (that’s “see-la-kanth”) has ancestral and genetic links to fish and amphibians from the Devonian Period (400-360 million years ago), this fish is a cryptozoologist’s dream come true! Some might say the elusive coelacanth, in spite of its primordial ugliness, has attained rock star status." Taken from: The Tackle Box: Defying Extinction and Celebrating the Strange CoelacanthDance started out as a one fish studio project by Steve McDonnell, playing various guitars - Strat, Washburn Classical, Takamine acoustic, bass - Ibanez, vice grips, keyboards - MAudio Axiom 49, clamato juice, drum programming, various percussion, Nag Champa incense, and is now in the process of evolving into a full band which currently consists of: Steve'The Fish' McDonnell: guitars, bass, Trent Mailander: drums/percussion, Brent Pylot: bass, guitars, Don Modderman: keyboards/flutes/wind instruments, bass, Steve'The Hat"Jeske: guitar, bass, keyboards, various percussion, cool hats. When not jamming and creating music in the 'niche-marketed category', I make my living as a graphic designer, illustrator and web designer and have a portfolio site @: Dalek Design
