The Canadian government has given the go-ahead to hunters to bludgeon to death 270,000 baby harp seals this year. There is estimated to be 90% seal pup mortality, already, due to the poor ice conditions, caused by global warming. Seal pups are not able to swim at such a young age and do not have the blubber to protect them from the frigid waters, thus, they have drown or froze to death. The surviving few, will be slaughtered with hakapiks by any Canadian fishermen who can get to them. This is fully supported by the Canadian government, all for the sake of profit. Pure greed and ignorance fuel this massacre. We must fight and spread awareness to the world! Boycott Canadian Seafood! Boycott Red Lobster!!
