Below are examples of some of my public and interactive art projects. .. This is my PITTSBURGH'S PAINTED PACHYDERM in front of the CARNEGIE MUSEUM OF ART AND NATURAL HISTORY. My pachyderm was recently purchased by the Carnegie Museum. I designed this inflatable sculpture in support of the international "Fierce Friends:Artists and Animals 1750-1900" exhibit at the Carnegie previously featured at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam 2006. "Angles and Arabesques" at the Shadyside Arts Festival on Ellsworth ave. Pittsburgh. Pa. This was one of ten chalk murals created for the three day street party. Thank you Mr. Vermeer! That's me working on "The Girl With the Pearl Earing" 2006 Chalk mural at Ellsworth Arts Festival 2007 "Cedar Chess Set" on San Juan Island, Washington State "kingly Chess" at the Hazlet Theater. Design of a five story mural being painted on Pittsburgh's Northside by yours truly. The mural commemorates the history and architecture of the community and the proud tradition of glass making in the area. My thanks to the Elm Street Project, the Northside Leadership Council, The URA, the PPND and the City of Pittsburgh for making it all happen. Pic from the scaffold.
