Horror & Dark Fantasy Author

About Me

Fiction author whose horror and fantasy works have appeared in several anthologies and magazines, including Writers of the Future, Damned Nation, Apex Magazine and The Rocking Chair Reader. First book, Tales of the Jersey Devil, based on the legendary monster, was published by Middle Atlantic Press in 2005. Tales of the Atlantic Pirates came out in '06, and two more to follow in that series. Mostly write horror and dark fantasy, but have lots of projects on the table right now -- from YA to historical fiction. Just turned in my YA version of The Iliad, to be published in '07.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other authors of all levels and subjects. Folk interested in horror, fantasy and good books. Fellow musicians.

Books:

I read everything, and have shelves stuffed with the books, but always make time for re-reads and the latest works of:Ray Bradbury John Updike Chuck Palahniuk Bernard Cornwell Douglas Clegg Robert B. Parker Jean Anouilh Alexandre Dumas Dan Abett Kurt Vonnegut Ross Thomas Donald Hamilton Robert E. HowardStephen King and the Lord of the Rings are, as with many, the foundation of all reading for me and so they hold a special place. Yet, the best books I've read (the one's that really knock me flat) are:Dune The Fountainhead Fight Club Shadowland Something Wicked This Way Comes In Cold BloodI'm sure more will come to mind in about four minutes...
