I've performed/recorded with artists from many genres and I'm an active member of Cleverhorse , Gotye , Cycling Katrina, Adam Simmons Toy Band , Tim Shawcross Septet and perform with my own projects The Southside Hammond Clan, Deco Duo, Trio Brazil and my original jazz project, The Natives. I've played at many music festivals including the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, The Great Escape Festival (Brighton, UK), Splendour In The Grass, Meredith, Golden Plains, St Kilda Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival and have performed at some of Australia's best venues including Rod Laver Arena, Hamer Hall, Myer Music Bowl, Powerhouse (Bris), BMW Edge and Bennetts Lane. I am a co-founder of Half Bent www.halfbent.org (a group dedicated to promoting new, original music), and I have recently been sitting on the Arts Victoria grant assessment panel. I've got a Bachelor of Music (Melbourne University - classical saxophone), a Graduate Diploma in Music (Victorian College of the Arts - jazz) and AMusA (Associate Diploma of Saxophone). I currently teach saxophone 2 days a week as well as doing whatever gigs I can get my hands on.
