Tamara Murphy lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she does some gigs and generally hangs about. Occasionally, she teaches a bit and sometimes even documents music through various recording processes.She plays with other people too, like Allan Browne, David Rex, Mark Fitzgibbon, Cam McAllister 5tet, Julien Wilson, Geoff Hughes, Stephen Magnussen, Andrea Keller, Joe Talia, Shannon Barnett and Nashua Lee.Tamara has done a few trips overseas playing music with the Cologne New Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and in 2003, Tamara also spent a period of time in New York City, studying with bassist/composer Mark Helias (funded by an Australia Arts Council Development grant).
