"Situated above the renowned music store, this bar is popular throughout the day and night.The front half is only open at night and is used for live acts. DJs play both here and out the back. The large, hall-like room at the back houses rows of recycled couches, but a real highlight is the retro entertainment that extends to include a brown felt pool table.The piece de resistance, however, is a Six Million Dollar Man pinball machine. Low-hanging lampshades throw red light across the Warhol-esque wallpaper and at the far end a small kitchen serves reasonably priced Thai food.You have to wonder what Revolver's management is so concerned about. For a relaxed, friendly place such as this, cages feature quite prominently.The cashier (there is a cover charge most nights) is in one, as is the cloak room and the spirit and wine racks rising high above the bar are another giant cage. Are they worried their employees might escape?"
