Right now, and for the next little while, I think that i will be playing the saxophone in melbourne where i have (hopefully) just completed a bachelor of music at the Victorian College of the Arts. Although at present, the vast majority of my playing is taking place in a bedroom in Northcote, i am hoping to be gigging a whole lot more in the coming months, years. Recently i have been trying to write a lot more music, the tunes you can hear on my page being some examples. These are some pieces i composed for a sextet consisting of Jenni Mills - cello, Xani Kolac - violin, Simon Mavin - Piano, Alex Yeap - Bass and Nick Martyn - Drums for my third Year recital.Another project on the go at the moment is 'my robot can dance' which draws on slightly different influences..On the whole i am just wandering around melbourne at my own pace, hanging out with good people and trying to soak up a whole lot of different sounds.
