Hey. I'm Bec aka Nadee, I'm a 21 year old soul/rnb vocalist from Melbourne. I was born in Haiti and grew up in Australia. I currently perform around town with Melbourne Hip Hop group Diafrix. We have had the chance to perform at various Summer Festivals such as Big Day Out, Meredith and Falls Festival and supported the likes of Daara J & Tippa Irie in Melbourne.
After performances in Adelaide, Newcastle & Sydney, Diafrix headed to Vanuatu for a week in October 06 performing infront of 20,000 people at Fest Napuan in Port Villa, was an amazing experience. I have also recently been performing back up vocals with Blue King Brown on the Big Day Out Tour 08 and supporting Santana. I also occasionally perform with Candice Monique and band, and had the chance to support Rahsaan Patterson in Melbourne. You can also occasionally see me sing alongside Jess Harlen.
I hope to get a solo EP together eventually. So much of everything has been happening with music lately that I havent had the chance to focus on my music, but keep an ear out for my work with Diafrix, we on the up.
I'm open to working with other musicians, just drop me a line. I'm not on here that often, so forgive me if I take forever to reply. I am passionate about music and it pretty much consumes my life, anything from hip hop, funk and soul, whatever gets you in the groove. I'll leave it at that. Peace.
