JW's penned rhymes in the form of poems since childhood, formed a love of funk and jazz in early teens playing brass, raised with island harmonies and reggae in her bloodstream - she uses these influences to shape her rhymes... discovered the ladiesluv crew in 2004, with whom shes regularly performed in and around Melbourne, and hooked up with Doesa & Sammie D to form the CGA and Hiatus who've made many a rowdy appearance togetha at hip hop venues and festivals round Melbourne,... Currently taking a detour in Auckland for as long as it takes to get ish done, has been hiding in the lab, so stay tuned fo the rebirth of Jo Wah coming soon
