About Me

Hi All, I'm Carrie aka shoop. Music is my life. I'm currently living in Melboure, originally from Adelaide. When I get the time I do bits and pieces of work on the music scene, I'm a freelance music journalist and I also help with publicity/promotion/consulting for artists/clubs/tours. I occasionally do some tour work and through working on the scene & tours I have been lucky enough to meet some rockin artists and tour crews etc. I really want to travel soon, so will hopefully get overseas next year. My day job is admin in the corporate world, it sucks, but pays the bills. As most of us who work in music know, its hard to make good money from.
I am one quarter of Freestyle 4 Entertainment, we brought you "SHE GOT GAME" Australia's First International B-Girl Competition on the 5th May 07, the comp was off tha hook, and we had our second comp on Saturday 17th May, 2008. We are running Mighty 4 Australia in Novemver, stay tuned. You can also see me djing at Seven Nightclub Saturday nights and at random venues around town.
I have mad love for my friends, its you guys who keep me going and pursuing this beautiful struggle we call life. Keep it real people, be true to yourself and others. It's all about the music. I'll leave it at that for now. Stay blessed, peace.

i have a weakness for percussionists, bassists, lemon sorbet & lenny kravitz & dream of playing in the Incredible Bongo Band. :P
