Indigo Brown are, to put it simply, refreshing. Made up of the bubbly Nayla and laid back Soul, originally two songwriters from London, it was an impromptu gig at Readnex album launch in New York that gave birth to the colourful duo. ‘They nearly stole our show’ jokes Freeflow of the Readnex. ‘They weren’t even half way through their first song and the crowd were already on their feet and cheering.’

It seems to be these live performances coupled with their seemingly natural gift to write songs that has made such a buzz about Indigo Brown in such a short space of time. ‘Those girls are FIRE!’ hollers Sony’s Grammy Award winning ETC in his raspy New York baritone.

Indigo Brown told us to keep our ear to the ground and we would hear them coming, but it seems as though they have already arrived.
