We began running Dirty Filthy back in September 2006 as there was no-where in Burnley playing quality underground house/electronic music and there was nowhere offering the dark, intimate basement/loft style vibe we love! We initially started the night as a means of having a place to go where we could meet up with our friends on a regular basis and have a few drinks and a laugh whilst listening to some fresh electronic music but we are quickly building up a reputation of putting on intimate parties/raves with a good friendly vibe with a good crowd and GREAT MUSIC!Since our inception we’ve had some excellent parties and with the re-launch of Dirty Filthy on the last friday of the month, we are looking into getting some line ups with djs from some of the best clubs all over the uk to come and join us in our party shenanigans
There is so much fresh talent coming through at the moment, and all we ask is people to trust us, because we honestly believe that the people who we are looking to book at the moment and in the future will be the ones that will be making big waves in the future or djs who have got residencies at some of the best club nights in the uk. The underground scene is coming of age, it’s happened in all the major cities and it’s only a matter of time before it happens in Burnley, people are voting with their feet and rebelling against the whole ‘superstar dj’ bollocks.If you want to go out and get the chance to listen to some wicked underground electronic music, whether it’s house, minimal, techno, then we recommend you pay us a visit soon!!!. It’s cheap to get in, the drinks are as cheap as chips, and it’s in the middle of town so get yourself down and we can get Burnley back on the map for somewhere to go and listen to some fantastic dance music.
