JDS started life way back 1997 when Julian Napolitano was working as studio engineer for OUCH! Records .There Darren Pearce was working on a project called D-enrico and Julain was the engineer after recording a few release for Ouch Darren and Julian both parted company with Ouch Julian went to Crosstrax Records where he started to record under the name Perpetual Motion and Nexted Generation and they both decided to work on a couple projects together the first being Cupid Stunt and the second JDS as they had same taste and got on very well .There Nine Ways was born becoming a big club classic and then being sign to Pete Tongs FFRR label reaching 41 in national charts .Nexted was London Town released on Pepper Records then back to Crosstrax for Orientail and Destint Calls which was then signed on Incentive records .Always incorparating breaks into there sound there love for breaks grew and they then signed the nexted 4 releases to Rhythm Syndicate Records the first Punk or Funk then The Drummer followed by The Chant and last Elements .during this time Julian and Darren had both set up studios for themselfs and Julian starting running his own for business they carried on recording together as well as producing their own material .They decided to start to record different tracks with an album in mind getting 7 tracks together they sent it out to the main breaks labels TCR Finger Lickin and so on after a week Rennie Pilgram from TCR contacted them with regartd the tracks and was liking blackout and Dont Be Alone so a deal was done and started work with TCR .After the release of Blackout interest grew again and they followed up with Purple Funky Monkey which was played by many different djs around the world .After a chat with Rennie they decided to get an album finished which was released with fantastic reviews The Adventures Of The Purple Funky Monkey two other tracks where released from this album Jump Around The good Old Days.as well as producing there album they have been lots of remixes Moloko ,Orbital ,Santos and Tom Real vs Rogue element and many more .Getting up to date they have just finished the nexted Beatz n Bobz vol 6 along with some new material a new single coming on Funtional Breakz called Some Kinda Funky Shit and The Spice both featured on the album .Also just finished a 2006 remix of Nine Ways which will be released on Darrens own Punk Funk Records label in late may/june also another track has been finished and signed to Phonetic Records called Shake It and are hpoing to release another album later in the year.Darren has set up Punk Funk Records and has other projects on the go including Paradox 3000(www.myspace.com/paradox300) which is darren and Angel Farrindon they have realed 4 tracks and are always working on things also his own personnal baby Electrotec which have released 3 tracks .julain is also working hard in the studio on his Soul Seekers guise which has been doing very well with about ten remixes under there beltJDS DISCOGRAPHY
