Currently Resident at the legendary 'Spectrum' Breaks night in Birmingham,
and host of ‘The Showcase Sessions’ on NSBradio, JoeBot started DJing at the tender age of 16, Quick to pick up on the sound coming out of club nights like Blowpop, breaks soon became JoeBot's music of choice.
Whilst a youngster in Bristol JoeBot held a Residency and was heavily involved in the promotion at the infamous 'Station' nightclub (formerly Café Blue) during which time he graced the decks under various names alongside a wide range of top DJ’s from across the board.
Moving to Birmingham in late 2001 and adopting the name JoeBot, Joe wasted no time in setting up 'Friction' and 'Funkstar' nights in conjunction with DJ Conscience bringing the likes of Kosheen and The Freestylers to Brum.
It was in 2004, while studying for his degree in Music Technology JoeBot won the title of ‘Juice DJ Champion’. The Juice DJ Competition was a nationwide search for student DJ talent supported by Ministry of sound, Vestax, iDJ Magazine and The Daily Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/dj) with over 2000
entrants from universities across the UK.
After Juice JoeBot toured the country with the competition and started picking up more gigs nationwide, playing at the likes of, breakspoll nominated C64, Ministry of Sound (London), Air (Birmingham), Spectrum, NsbRadio, Drop Beats Not Bombs, Heducation and the Rubiks Cube to name a few.
Also an up and coming producer JoeBot has forthcoming releases and remixes on numerous labels
