Much, much better than cheese & pineapple on those sticks!”

Inspired by their favourite tasty snack, Richard and Paul met and Crackerz And Jam were born. Ready to the expose them self’s to the world (in musically sense that is), they decided to start a little shindig called The Fat Factory…

This event has been running for almost three years, with Crackerz and Jam being at the heart of The Fat Factory’s Dirty, electro breakbeat sound. From this people started to take notice of the cheeky break beaters, with them gathering momentum playing other people’s music and taking all the credit for it!

While all this was happening their “music for your mental health” CD was doing the business, with DJ magazine picking them for “gotta be big” and IDJ reviewing the mix in their “raw talent” section. Plus the duo have been playing guest sets around the UK supporting DJ’s, Lee Coombs, General Midi, Breakfastaz, Precision Cuts, Groove Allegiance, Dj Hyper The Autobots and The Beat Monkeys to name a few.

Currently C & J hold residencies for, The Fat Factory, Elev-8 and Twisted Fat Stuff, along with their weekly show on Future Radio 96.9 FM.

Always wanting to move things forward, the guys are playing their bigger better, high energy “live” Decks and FX DJ set on the road, which has received an awesome response from recent events they have played at…

After the success the pair have had in 2006, Charge Clothing approached them to wear their urban clothing range at gigs across the country.

“We got hold of their “Music for your mental health” breaks mix CD in the DJ mag office and haven’t been able to take it off our system since. Chair dancing has taken on a new dimension”
