SPLAXXTER WATTS nominated for "Spellemannsprisen"( Norwegian Grammy)! The debut album is nominated in the category for electronica. We thank the spellemann comitee for the love and congratulate our other two co-nominees!
The debut album of SPLAXXTER WATTS was released in Norway October 16th. Read below what the press had to say. The album has been named "The Shakeout", and is excactly what it promises; a real solid Norwegian rumpshaker! If you like what you hear on this site, you`re gonna love this entire album. None of that "two hits and a bunch of crap to fill the record" -nonsense. We love popmusic and take the job of making you boys and girls wiggle your deucies damn serious. If some of you women out there felt a little tickle while listening to "Come on and play", do not worry - it`s natural. We won`t be surprised if there should be somewhat of a babyboom about nine months after the release of that song. And "If" has got to be the catchiest and cutest song ever been made about bombs and nuclear threat. Feel free to sing along! The lyrics are in the blog, and the video for "If" will be made available on this site soon. Just get ready for "The Shakeout". Out now.
