About Me

I'm Kaiser SaySo and I'm a DJ and producer. I play and make a range of breakbeat but I also play a bit of Hip Hop and Drum and Bass for good measure. I do this at various venues around the Midlands but you're most likely to find me in my home town, Birmingham.
I'm currently resident for Dirty Soul System and The Late Night Chemists but also make regular appearances for Magnetik , Stupid Underground and Funkatronic amongst others. That's all mainly at the weekend though. During the week I teach DJing and run turntablism and urban music workshops around the Midlands.
The main, but not exclusive, focus of the workshops I provide is for teenagers who have been, or are on the verge of being, excluded from school and/or have behavioural or emotional issues. I usually subcontract to local social enterprises but I have been known to run my own projects. I have also worked with local charities and Youth Offending Teams.
My aim is to teach my students basic DJ and music skills as well as encourage them to engage working in a team as well as on there own.
I'm available for workshop work on evenings and weekends and throughout the year. I have an Enhanced disclosure as well as a PTC (Professional Trainers Certificate) and am contactable via this site.
If you are not a myspace account holder or user and you wish to contact me, you can do so by emailing me at [email protected] .
Here's a video taken at the beginning of May 2008 at YouthWorcs, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. It is a practice jam at one of our latest project concepts, a DJ/Percussion Band. This came about by utilising skills that our students already had, as well as nurturing some new ones.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

It seems these days that everyone has something to sell and quite frankly I'm no different. I just hope that for once I'm someone who has a product that's worth selling. I'd much appreciate it if you'd take a few minutes to listen to some of the music I have made.

In the player below are a few tunes for you to listen to. If you like any of the tracks you can download them for about 95p pence each. I hope you enjoy them. You can also copy the code for the player and put it on your own page if you just want to have the tunes on your profile. Just press the "Embed Player To..." button on the player for the code. Go to Kazzong for more details.

My Blog

First of Many?

OK, Blog number one. Probably one to be ignored. I just wanted to tie up a few loose ends over the first few instalments concerning the page and what it's about (if that's possible). These things are ...
