About Me

Intro: Inbetween DJs are Paul Mcguinness/Dave Coates and Paul Bugby who where all born and brought up in Liverpool Merseyside area, Inbetween Dj's are mostly House based djs/producers who sometimes throw in anything from Tech House, Breaks, to elements of Progressive with a thick helping of Tribalism to crack open any dance floor but always keeping the underground aspect. All three members of Inbetween DJs have been djing for the total sum of 13 years collectively and have a massive range of influences spreading from early Disco, Electro, Hip Hop, Funk and Rave. Acid House is also a huge influence on their productions and DJ sets. They where heavily influenced by the sounds of Cream in Liverpool' back in 94 - 96 hearing such DJs as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox and Paul Bleasdale taking in the future in Dance Music played by the masters. Soon after that deciding it was their dream also to be behind a pair of turntables and to make music. Its now 2008 and the boys have had a host of digital and vinyl releases on labels Wallshaker Music,3am Recordings, fragile,Z Tribe,Disco Revolt.Their first ep Inbetween DJs - Animal Jazz Volume 1 (Wallshaker Records) written and produced by (Paul Bugby/Paul Mcguinness/Dave Coates) has created a real buzz amongst a whole host of big name dj/producers right across the globe including... Aaron Carl (Wallshaker Records Detroit), Dj Heather (Classic,20/20) John Larner (Nightshift Records, Gallery), DJ Alena (Igloo), Phil Weeks (Robsoul), Honey Dijon (Peaches), James Curd (Green keepers), Paul Woolford (20/20, Robsoul), Nic Fanciulli (Radio 1) and Jacob (Music for Freaks)...the ep is being heard at such clubs as Circus, Chibuku, Back to Basics, Stylus, The Bomb in the Uk to more U.S based club/bars like 'Cloud 9' and 'Dotbleep' in Chicago.Released now is 'Beat These Bitches' Ep on Wallshaker music Detroit this ep features two new vocalists Joanne Waldron and Ivor Alley both from the U.K,complete with remixes from Aaron Carl and Dj E Dub so watch out for this one new for 2007,also their Disco Revolt Music Mp3 label has been getting much play and respect from dj's and producers world wide.So the future looks bright for Inbetween DJs' so expect some crazy House cuts, from the scouse lads... and they say - "We just love our music and Djing, we try to do this without being arrogant or ignorant and we give respect to people who give respect to us... we just like making music and djing.
