Phronemophobia - the American Plague

About Me

I hate talking on the phone with strangers to the point that I need a phobia to describe it. It's not telephonophobia per se--I have no problems with the machines as inanimate objects. I do know how to use a cell phone. Hell, I worked at Nokia for two years, and I don't mean a kiosk at the mall.
No, it's phonophobia. Fear of one's own voice (as echoed in that hollow chamber of the receiver).

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If I've invited you it's because you look like a cool person with similar interests, probably involving writing or reading in some way, but also possibly from something you posted on someone else's blog. I'm looking to meet all kinds of people, including but not limited to:
People who read books.
People who write.
People who have pets, or who want them. People who don't want anything to do with pets. People who think their significant others look like pets they had in childhood.
People who like language. Any language.
People who are afraid of things to the point of needing a phobia to describe it.
People who mock people who are afraid of things to the point of needing a phobia to describe it.
People who like sour candy, who like it so much they eat the white powder left at the bottom of the bag, such as in Sour Skittles.

My Blog

More than you ever cared to know about meSo I got blog-tagged twice in the two weeks since I last posted, and because it's hard to fight inertia and actually post new and interesting things, I'll do t...
