About Me

I'm the perfect example of my generation: college education and still have no idea what I want to do with my life. I've worked as a swim instructor, juice maker, wardrobe consultant, nanny, journalist and now a freelance writer going back to school for my M.A. We'll see how that works out...

Also, I have a couple of blogs you might want to check out. The first is a book review blog and the other one is all about training to run a marathon . Awesome, yes? Yes.

I'm training for a half marathon. You can check out my progress here:

Group Dining: Why you should carry cash

I love going out in big groups, except for one thing. It seems like every time there is a big group, someone always ends up paying a much larger portion of the bill than everyone else. It's usually th...

Single v. Divorced: A question of ethics?

This is something that has been bothering me for awhile. It's about the labels we choose to give ourselves. As you may have noticed, my front page says "single" in the relationship status box. But as ...

What is it about gray?

I own about 6 pairs of gray lounge pants and probably at least 10 gray t-shirts. I've also been coveting a gray hoodie sweatshirt for months. I don't know what it is about gray clothes but they seem s...
