About Me

I'm a Dad...I make art... I like conversation. you can see my art here: brucedeanart my kids invariably groan when I try to be funny ...but I think humor is about risk, don't you?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

At this moment I like meeting people. Everyone seems to have something to offer. On a personal level, I enjoy (as I think most people do) a sense of generosity in conversation. A sense of humor is also an attractive quality. The young Susan Sontag was beautiful and brilliant. I'll bet she had an amazing presence. Jorge Luis Borges is my favorite thinker. I would have liked listening to him talk about anything. Mark Twain, Richard Pryor, perhaps Oscar Wilde before the wallpaper killed him, I admire these people because they are story tellers. Of those writers who are still living, I would pick John Barth. The twinkle in his eye is evident in his prose. Katt Williams is the truth and Tim Hawkinson is my favorite living artist.
