Like manna from heaven, right in the fuquin eye.

About Me

Burn the Man. )'(
Former New Yorker in Albuquerque, NM. Not sure where I'm headed next, but I give it a couple of years before I move onward and upward. My home is currently here, but my wanderlust will not be denied. And my timeline will not be understandable.
I play the best damn air violin this side of the Mississippi.
I drink too much wine...smoke too many cigarettes.
Subtlety... is my Middle Initial.
And if our plane crashes in the mountains, I will eat you.
I brew my own wine.
I collect interesting people.
I am a martyr to my ideals, which are unlike the ideals of anyone most anyone else I've yet to meet.
I like odd people. Artists. Entrepreneurs. Philosophers. Mad scientists.
Yeah, I've made my living as a stand up comedienne.
Yeah, I've written and performed monologues on both screen and stage.
Yeah, I've worked on Indie Films.
Yeah, I hang with occultists, writers, performers and philosophers.
Yeah, I enjoy a good happy hour
Yeah, I've managed a band.
Yeah, I owned an herb store in NYC.
Yeah, I'm happiest when I'm involved in some creative project or other.
Yeah, I have a day job as a "Corporate Whore" (tm).
Yeah, I'm ok with that.
"...that's all we are - just stories.
We only exist by how people remember us,
by the stories we make of our lives.
Without the stories, we'd just fade away."
~Memory & Dream by Charles de Lint

Stuff I'm working on in "My Copious Free Time":
WRITING - funny how life has brought me back to writing. Read the blogs. Wait for the novel.
RESEARCH - I've got this strange idea
about music and the monumental structures of ancient civilizations.
It may be a little crazy,
but it beats a life built around what's on sale at Wal-Mart.
BLACK ROCK CITY 2007 - The Pyramid Projection
Original Music by Chris Walker
Original visual projection by Marianne
A 30 foot tall pyramid with digital visuals on all sides simultaneously
Now, if I can just perfect the hologram
for the spot where the capstone should be...
PHILANTHROPY - Supporting other artists, helping them
break through a series of glass ceilings
has historically proven to be most rewarding.
On occasion, it is most time consuming.
Here and there, it been most heartwrenching.
And I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Fear my evil plan.
See the blog for ramblings of an
iconoclastic introspective extrovert

The guy who did the headshots: Jim Blanchard of Jim's Images .

(Lookit what he did with the color there! That's spooky eerie, no? Jim rocks.) - He's available for headshots, promo kits, elistist heathen functions, and barmitzvah's, funerals, bondage sessions, and the occasional bris, but he won't do weddings. NO weddings. Ix-nay on the edding-way.
Go ahead, ASK him. [email protected]
See what happens. Don't say I didn't warn you.

My Interests

"Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. delicious ambiguity..."
- Gilda Radner

Wordsmithing
Making people think
Making people laugh
Making people remove the masks we don in self preservation
Putting my own masks away
Doing things I've never done before
Facing the unknown with a smirk on my face to hide the hesitation inside
Creation, self expression, and an insatiable desire to experience all the wonders that life has to offer
Exploring the darkness. Revelling in the light
Helping folks realize their dreams, while not undermining my own

I love helping my artist friends expose others to cool underground artistry... BUT if you try to pimp your porn industry, home based businness, or anything I just don't think is about ART, then it's a-gonna be de-l33t-ed. Don't be offended, If you really want me to see pictures of you balancing a musical instrument on your manhood, just mail them to me like everyone else. Thanks!
