About Me

Kilmore Celtic Festval 2008 - Review
Following the 'Address to the Haggis' the Sunday entertainment began with the newly formed group 'Red Cat'. Rob Carroll has been performing in Kilmore over the years and has become one of our favourite entertainers. His teaming up with Kerry Dawson and Mike Daley to create Red Cat was a great move. Their voices blend beautifully with great instrumental accompaniment and they impart a great sense of enjoyment in their performances. Kerry also performed in the special performance of 'Wild, Wicked and Wanton Women with Sue Foley (Bhantre)....... Congratulations to Red Cat and we hope they can visit Kilmore again soon. Don't miss seeing this special group. (Dianne Lequiniat, Kilmore Celtic Festival Program Coordinator)
Newport Celtic Festival 2008 - Review
"I really enjoyed the vibe at the Junction Hotel and 'Red Cat' were fantastic as I knew you would be - a strong performance to tie the festival afternoon together. You are in for next year!" (Michael Stewart, Newport Folk Festival committee).
