**Order your copy of "Now Then?" from www.wendyarrowsmith.com** ************************************************************ ******Originally from Glasgow, Scotland and now based in North Yorkshire I am influenced by the history and folk of both of these as well as music from further afield.The songs I love to sing come from a wide range of sources - some written by me, some are traditional Scottish and Irish ones which Iâ€™ve known since very young and others are American.My tribute to the Whitby Lifeboat crew who saved all on board â€œThe Visitorâ€ in 1881 off the shore at Robin Hoodâ€™s Bay is going down a storm (no pun intended!) at local N Yorkshire folk clubs. Yes, itâ€™s a folk song with a happy ending !â€œNow Then?â€... I spent several days in the studio in Leyburn in April 2007. The album is now available, with 13 tracks - 5 tracks are originals and the remainder predominantly traditional.
