About Me

Alabama A&M University Alum : Rashad"thapoet" or Rashad Rayford depending what medium I'm in. You can catch me on both stages (theatre,or behind the mic) I have 5 releases under my belt. I was the first spoken word artist to release a mixtape (3 to be exact). Please understand I am not a rapper I am a spoken word artist. I have sold over 10,000 cd's independently in about 2 1/2 years. Again this is spoken word...I've performed in over 20 plays, most of the dates at the bottom are theatrical dates. I have performed in 12 states, I stay in the studio, so if you need something different on a track then holla at me. I'm gone do my thang though, I'm not riding 24's or smacking H@.
