~Church~ is a poet, spoken word artist, performance poet, writer, author, promoter, leader, organizer, friend and listener. Over the years ~Church~ has become a house and venue name. He breathes life into the mic, and captures all with his strong voice and word metaphors. He is no stranger to the big stages, performing with likes of Georgia Me, Def Poets Abyss, John Goode, J.Ivy, Farraji Salim, Sonia Sanchez, TIA, Red Storm, Maurice Henderson, and many more. Church is the receiver of the Harriette Bias-Insignares Award for Achievements In Poetry. His mission is to teach youth how to communicate emotions through the spoken word. He is a dreamer, but also a believer.
