Da Poet Tim Jackson

Tim Jackson is an inspiring and empowering author, poet, spoken word emcee and stage performer. Tim is also the president and creator of Soul Redemption Ink Publishing, an innovative publishing company that supports the many unsupported talented poets, writers and spoken word artists. Born and raised in Plymouth, NC, Tim attended Winston Salem State University. He is a strong believer in spreading joy, strength, faith, love and righteousness through written and spoken word. Tim’s experiences as a black man, born into and living the American experience, has more than prepared him for his quest to overcome the negative with the positive power of spoken word. Tim has produced his own stage plays and performed as a lead actor in many local productions. He has been a featured poet at various spoken word venues and a guest speaker for many youth, cultural, educational and church events.
