About Lady Seoul
Lady Seoul recently moved from the South to New York City to hone her craft as a writer. Previously, she completed her first manuscript, a compilation of poetry. Now, she currently seeks a literary agent/literary publisher. "The Colours of My Heart: Shades of Emotions," discusses the emotions and feelings that transcends from International Adoption into the life of a Korean-american adoptee raised in an all-white community. This book touches upon the particular issues of not being allowed to grieve over the loss of the biological family, the loss of the country and cultural awareness, the loss of identity, and the many losses that follow. While this book highlights the issues that the majority of international adoptees face, the book also brings to light the results that occurred from the issues thrust upon Lady Seoul’s own personal experience.
“The Colours of My Heart: Shades of Emotions†not only raises cultural awareness and the importance to become more pro-active amongst the readers in the Asian-american community; but, also raises awareness amongst those who are considering to internationally adopt. This book is an excellent read for all ages, races and nationalities of any ethnic background, religions, economic status, and all walks of life, because the twists and turns of life’s journey is always truly a message and testimony from God!
