About Me

I'm a simple cat. I love music - period. I used to think of myself as a hip hop cat, but as I grow, I've risen above restriction in my expressions, so I'm just a music cat. I used to try to differentiate between being a producer and an artist...but I learned that in a big way, my production is my art, so I'm both and neither. Just a music cat. I love anything soulful...anything progressive...anything fresh...anything that makes me feel. I love light...so I usually write about love & freedom....trust me....it never gets old. I've been blessed to be exposed to a lot of different types of music in my life, and I've gravitated to several different styles over the years. I stopped trying to figure it out and decided to just make the music, so bear with me as I explore these various grooves. I'm not worried. There is a higher purpose and it will be.

Movin’ Down the Highway

Life is wild.  The older I get and the more I look for some type of stability and consistency in my life, the more it says to me, "keep dreaming."  There have been few constants in my life.&...

Times are a changin'

People, As many of you know, I am an advocate of the revolution and rennassaince in hip hop.  As an artist and a producer, I make moves to try to provide a balance in a game that is oversaturated...

Living the dream

So, I'm in the studio today with my brother cutting vocals for this gospel record that we're producing. I got up at like 9 this morning, got a cup of coffee on my way to my brother's house, and proce...

I'm just sayin...

People kill me.  I mean, if you ever just slow down and pay attention to things people do and why they do them, it's really quite hillarious.  And sad.  It gets sad after a minu...
