So what do you get when you combine the influences of
Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Rufus? You
get the soulful sounds of Brandi Sellerz. Born and
raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Brandi Sellerz
discovered her musical calling at a young age. “ I
used to pretend that I was recording, instead of
playing outsideâ€, says Sellerz. “I’ve always been
drawn to music. I got something from artists such as
Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, and Sade. They made me
feel something.â€After graduating, Brandi Sellerz moved to Nashville,
Tennessee. She has been gaining a following for the
last four years in the Nashville area, playing in hot
spots such as Caffeine, Café 123, B.B. Kings, The Onyx
Room, La La Lounge, and Love Noise just to name a few.
There, she developed her musical capabilities, and
discovered her ability and love for writing. “It was
like a new door had opened. I could say what I wanted,
in my music.†Sellerz, has coined her sounds as “life
musicâ€. “I want to make music that not only makes you
move. But, I want to make music that speaks life, that
breaths positively.†Brandi Sellerz’ songs range from
the joy of life, love, and the greatness of God, which
is heard in her title song “Taxi Cab†(which is on her
last EP). Sellerz also sings about the happiness of
being in love and being loved in her song “Be With
Youâ€. Brandi is now in the process of recording her
new material, in which “Be With You†will be featured,

many more. In short, Brandi Sellerz has proven herself
as a artist who reaches out to a diverse audience, and
a artist worth checking out.
