Sweetlocs is a soon and upcoming household name. Why? Because music is the air she breathes. She attended SUNY Morrisville in upstate New York and received a degree in Journalism. While there she worked as a deejay and won best DJ for a month. She has a diverse background, and was President of Student Government; resident assistant and received awards; Student Assembly Secretary over all 64 SUNY colleges; audio technician at church, and the list goes on. Sweetlocs is known for landing an upcoming model her first job in Teen People with a full spread in a back to school edition. She assists NBA basketball players, parents, and campers each year at the Kenny Smith Basketball Camp.
When Sweetlocs is asked the question “Do you think you can do this?†She quickly says with a smile “It’s the phrase that pays, make it do what it do.†And with that Sweetlocs is known in the music industry. She travels with her camera throughout the tri state area to many shows – video taping the artist, and features them on www.youtube.com. You can see clips of artists such Eric Roberson, Kindred, Raphael Sadiq, Donnie, and Jamie Foxx and so forth. Sweetlocs interviewed Eric Roberson, and she received notable mention on one of his cds. She was the NY Representative for www.4dasoul.com, where she attended shows and did reviews, as well as interviews.
Sweetlocs works with Footprint Communications – learning PR from Elsa Lathan. Her other projects include working with Anshia Tull (CEO), Kai Johnson (CFO) of Briclyn Entertainment, LLC where she is President, Brig Feltus (artist), Jonas (artist)and Paul & Brian Saunders of The Fuzz Band. She has booked shows for recording artists The Fuzz Band and Africa Miranda. She also manages three fan pages on Myspace. Sweetlocs was a Talent Escort for the 49th Grammy Awards (2007).

From the looks of it – Sweetlocs is making it do what it do. She is inhaling the joy of music and exhaling the love of it.
