The Initiate, one of the most exciting up and coming artists in all of hip hop today. The Initiate started rapping in 2002. A year later he wrote his first song, found a producer and became a hip hop artist. Wanting more for himself and his music, in 2006 he started producing his own beats. His first self produced song "I Miss You", was about his first love. The second, "I Have a Dream", he wrote for his televised performance at the Martin Luther King Jr. 2007 celebration at the Tacoma Dome. The Initiate's core strengths are his flow, a fierce work ethic and dedication to mastering his craft. His stage presence and his meaningful heartfelt lyrics inspire others to work through their challenges to realize their dreams. He delivers and underground message with a mainstream sound and his music is appealing to a wide range of musical palates. His inspirations are Eminem, Tech Nine, Ludacris, Dr. Dre, Outkast, T.I., Timberland, Tupac, Biggie and Snoop Doggy Dog, to name a few.
