About Me

"There is in you what is beyond you."
Currently I'm a trainer on the television show "Celebrity Circus." As a professional acrobat and aerialist I dance in the air, merging art with athleticism and challenging gravity. Performing has taken me worldwide and I have had incredible experiences such as performing in Paul McCartney's European tour, two Grammy Awards, the Winter Olympics, the American Music Awards, and the Miss Universe Pageant. I choreographed the aerials for Britney Spears World tour & Stars on Ice US tour.
As a child I started training 6 hours a day in acro-gymnastics and in dance. I retired from international competition at age 19 after representing the US many times in World Championships and World Cups. Athletically I am a 7 time National Champion, Female Olympic Athlete of the Year, Athlete of the Decade in acro-gymnastics, inducted into the Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and selected acro-gymnastic legend.
I call Los Angeles home but have lived in a Mayan Indian village in the Yucatan, in Italy for three years, and in Colorado, New Orleans, Rhode Island, Florida, and Michigan. I love traveling internationally and experiencing different cultures and perceptions. I speak Italian, Spanish, English, and a little French and Russian. My life is filled with learning, love, and joy.
Who am I...? I am the sea of Vindicio, a prism in a raindrop, and the unsung song. I am the dream catcher, a deep kiss after a long farewell, an air spirit swimming though waves of silk, watching the earth from a fabric womb, spinning woven threads to life. I am a lover, a dreamer, a gypsy. I am unwritten, unspoken, unsculpted, unchoreographed. I am the marble of David, the paint of La Giaconda.
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
I would believe only in a god who could dance. And when I saw my devil I found him serious, thorough, profound, and solemn; it was the spirit of gravity -- through him all things fall. Not by wrath does one kill but by laughter. Come let us kill the spirit of gravity. I have learned to walk: ever since, I let myself run. I have learned to fly. Now I am light, now I fly, now I see myself beneath myself, now a god dances through me.
--Friedrich Nietzsche

My Interests

"People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. "

Dancing in the air, happy moments, laughter, deep connections, hiking with my dog Sophie, the ocean, creative expression, nature, foreign languages, yoga, the arts, Agape, stimulating conversations, meditation, inspiration, self-improvement, integrity, transformation, international travel, people watching, enriching each other, gratitude, friendship, reevaluating my truth on a regular basis, manifesting, daydreaming, being the change, love, life -- every bit of it

"An eagle does not make up its mind to fly: it plunges into the void and finds itself flying."

I'd like to meet:

PLEASE DON'T ASK TO BE ADDED AS A FRIEND WITHOUT INTRODUCING YOURSELF FIRST. Send a message -- say Hi, share, connect.

Artists, pacifists, mystics, activists, visionaries, philanthropists, poets, dreamers, authentic, positive people who laugh and play hard, truly care, have integrity, a sense of humor, intellect, and love. In other words anyone who expands me.

"Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart" -- Eleanor Roosevelt

"Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them. What you choose to do with them is up to you."--Richard Bach

My baby doctor who saved my life by unwrapping the umbilical cord from around my neck while I was being born, my mom who caught my ankle as I was falling out of a second story window at age two, and my dad who hid for 45 minutes under the kitchen sink playing hide and seek while I gave up seeking and watched Sesame Street.
