Often on the road as a professional dancer for superstars such as Cher, P!NK and others, Shannon appreciates her down time and puts her mind at ease by crocheting. The meditative process allows her to slip into a world of relaxation and deep concentration, focusing on everything and at the same time, nothing at all. She describes this space as being "in the flow". A state of concentrated attention in which ordinary worries are forgotten and intrustions fail to register. She explains this feeling as being absolutely blissful and decided to make it her own by naming the company Feel the Flo.
Shannon has appointed her Shih Tzu, Ted D. to be the official "spokesdog" behind the first product, the PUPPOOSE. Its fashionable functionality compliments the pair as they cruise the streets of Los Angeles and New York City, spreading the joy of this unique product. This guerilla marketing tactic has gained an adoring fan base allowing people to easily see how the PUPPOOSE would enhance thier lives.
This is the first of many innovative ideas to build the Feel the Flo brand. Shannon is dedicated and smart and most importantly patient. She exudes positive energy and creativity which motivates herself and others, building strong solid relationships along the way. In an ever changing and increasingly competitive world, she believes a clear focus and perseverence will allow her dreams to come true!
Shannon Beach, originating from Phoenix AZ , lives with a passion for dance and movement. A focused & determined childhood led her to begin her professional career at 18. First was dancing for a cruise line, then came a variety of shows in Las Vegas, then at 21 being an Original Cast Member of a new Broadway show, "Saturday Night Fever". Living in NYC, with access to anything, became a time of growth, exploration and inspiration! Being asked to join the 1st National Tour of the show and having the opportunity to travel was a perfect combination. As an adventurous soul, Los Angeles was the next stop on the train of life since it hadn't been lived yet. A good choice because her 1st LA audition was for Cher's "Living Proof Farewell Tour" which she had the honor to be a member. This is where life really expanded by incorporating aerial movement into her repertoire. Doing the show for 2 1/2 years allowed her to quickly get comfortable in the air and created a hunger to learn more. She has now performed with Britney Spears at the 2007 VMAs, 2007 BET Awards with 50 Cent, Rose Bowl Parade with LeAnn Rimes, VMAs with Usher, on an episode of "Dancing with the Stars" and most recently, with P!NK in her sold out Australian/New Zealand "I'm Not Dead" tour. "Celebrity Circus" is a dream come true! Incorporating a lifetime of dance, aerials, yoga, teaching, choreography into one magical world. America get ready, the circus is coming to your television!
