Alasdair Bodhran

Im a percussion player who plays Djembe(african drums), Bodhran(Celtic drum), congos, shakers, mirimba, bongos and guitar. Ive played in different bands over the years from folk,ethnic,blues to rock. Lately ive been playing pub gigs & jammin in Stroud and at the local Fringe Festival & i play with the Stroud Samba Band. Im a Photographer into mainly landscape, textures of stone, sand, wood and flowers. Sunsets i love, especially across the sea, and being experimental with different angles and being creative in taking photos through the eye of the imagination of the photographer. I like to be creative and always open to try new experiences with music, drums, art, photography, alternative ways of life, people, love and life. Im a spiritual person into meditation, crystals, Rainbow Camps, being at one with nature on the earth in the hills, forests, sea and rivers. Drums are a natural vibration in the earth within the spirit, heart and soul of the drummer. Peace and Love.
