Inspiriert von afrikanischer und orientalischer Rhythmik, traditionellen Yidaki- und Mago- Meistern, Kirchenorgel, Songwritern, musikalisch erzählten Geschichten, entwickelt der deutsche Pionier und Ausnahmespieler seit 1990 einen neuen, reproduzierbaren Stil für das kontemporäre Didgeridoospiel. Er spielte mit Aborigines in den Strassen Australiens, sowie auf verschiedenen europäischen Festivals...
Sein härtester Kritiker ist er selbst, immer auf der Suche nach Neuem. GöG liebt es, mehrere Stimmen gleichzeitig zu spielen. Selbst bei den kompliziertesten Rhythmen groovt GöG wie kein anderer und reisst seine Hörer mit.
Seit 4 Jahren spielt GöG im Duo mit Doris Neff, die mit ihren unverwechselbaren Sounds und ihrer Dynamik frischen Wind in die Szene bringt, andere Wege geht und auf ihrem Gebiet neue Massstäbe setzt.
Wer sich GöG´s Videos auf Youtube anschaut und sich die Online-Tonbeispiele anhört, wird von den ebenso dichten wie delikaten Klangeigenschaften gefangengenommen.
GöG´s Musik ist einzigartig – und sie lässt eine faszinierend neue Welt entstehen: Da trifft Busch – Kultur auf Jazz und Funk, da verschmelzen archaische Rhytmen mit höchst energetischen Grooves.

GöG developed a new style of playing Didgeridoo, inspired by: african drumbeats, indian sitar, traditional yidaki and mago masters, church organ, stories, songwriters and several duo- songs with Doris Neff...
He played with Aborigines in the Australian streets aswell as at several European festivals. Good is never good enough for German Didgeridoo artist GöG - and that's why his reputation seems to be ever-growing.
GöG loves to play several voices at once. Even when playing extremely ambitious polyphonic or odd rhythms GöG always manage to maintain irresistible grooves, keeping their listeners in motion.
Checking GöG's videos released on youtube and listening to his online sound snippets you'll be immediately caught by the dense yet delicate soundscapes.
GöG's music is unique, and it creates a fascinating new musical world: Bush culture meets jazz and funk, archaic rhythms are melting with highly energetic grooves.
