helped me to understand the universal music scene that was now happening in London, England.I left London in 1981 with my beautiful wife, Colleen Hage, who is a Ballerina from the apple Isle of Tasmania, Australia.
I landed a plum residence at Selinas Rock venue in Sydneys coogee bay hotel, as DJ & Promoter from 1982-87,
the Hip Hop club fr/ 1989-92, and took up a weekend spot at the Q-Bar in oxford street,93-99 as main resident DJ, on fridays/saturdays midnite-6am to packed houses!I also moonlighted as a rock/critic/music reviewer for Rolling Stone Australia,Rock Australia Magazine,Duke,Countdown monthly of the now defunct but legendary countdown abc-tv pop chart weekly show.I was also commissioned to write an extensive piece on the"Commedia Dell Arte" italian pantomine from Bolognia dating back to the Rennaissance for Studio Collezione Magazine.During this period, I yearned to get back to radio broadcasting as a radio announcer/programmer and was enlisted by jjj-fm as the 12th man on Andy Glitre"s "Groove Train" and Jaslyn Hall"s "World Music Show".
I am currently at Bondi-FM with my own weekly show "Rhythm Passion& Grace" every tuesday from 4pm-6pm
