At the age of 5, he started to study the Piano with the help of his parents, after some years he decided to continue to study the music with the Guitar.
At the age of 16, Alex joined the percussions with the battery and successively, in the same year, with an old friend, he discovered the african percussions with the Djembe!
Alex has started a new experience and a new lifestyle, based on the continued research of the best and most traditional rhythms, but without forgetting his origins, and trying to find his own and personal style, taking the most big respect to a culture and a music 100% African!Verso i 5 anni viene avvicinato dai suoi genitori alla musica, a cominciare dal pianoforte e dalla chitarra.
Compiuti i 16 anni, Alex decide di avvicinarsi alle percussioni e inizia a studiare la batteria ed è in quell'anno che scopre l'energia delle percussioni africane, grazie ad un amico d'infanzia, così inizia un nuovo percorso musicale e artistico che lo porterà nel tempo ad un'aquisizione sempre migliore dell'arte di suonare il Djembe.
Oggi Alex continua ad approfondire il suo rapporto con la cultura e la musica africana, cercando di mantenersi il più possibile fedele alla musiche tipiche dell'Africa, ma al tempo stesso, cercando di creare un proprio stile e di trovare una propria identità , pur cercando di rispettare la cultura e la musicalità africana...Alex Bottoni in Action!
