Bodhran Festival 2008

About Me

And now the work has started, following some tentative chats and musings with fellow Bodhranistas I have now started work on a Bodhran Festival initally pencilled in for Spring 2008.The team is building from Glastonbury to Dallas, Toronto to Timbuktu !!! Our aim is to get together players from accross Europe, the States, Canada, etc., at a venue that includes both hotel and camping for a weekend of workshops and Bands featuring some of the Worlds best players. Stalls aimed at Bodhran players & Bars aimed at everyone!! Cost to be no more than £ 85 per head (Camping) with reductions for Students/youth/oaps/banjo players etc.
And now for your bit...... give me your suggestions and thoughts !!!!!

Working titles suggested so far..... 'A Bigger Bang' ' The Big Bang Theory'

I look forward to reading your ideas, lets make this 'THE' World Bodhran Event,
Yours,
Steve
