Everything Rock n' Roll in the County of Essex!

About Me

Issue 6 out now!

"...they have a Punk theme this time around, and where some Punk topics are entirely predictable these are actually fascinating.... What’s wrong with kids today? Answer: not a great deal." - Mick Mercer on issue 3

"...so many reviews of bands I actually know...makes it much more enjoyable than reading about Pete Doherty!" - Chris Davison on issue 6
Noisy! is an Essex-based fanzine aiming to promote live and unsigned music in our county. Each issue features interviews, reviews and articles relating to unsigned bands and the local music scene. To date, we have also organised three charity gigs to raise funds for a local homeless shelter. For more information on the fanzine, how to order a copy and what styles of music we cover, please visit our website .

Due to the scope of the fanzine and space limitations, we only feature bands who are based in or are playing in, the county of Essex, U.K. If you are an Essex band who would like their demo reviewed in the next issue, please contact us for an address to send a hard copy to.

Issue 1 Trash Monroe, Return of the Furies, Jerome Experience, Internet Radio, How to Create a Press Pack, reviews etc.
Issue 2 Carmen Pimps, Absent Kid, Steven Rosenberg, Band Promotion Online, Charity Shopping for Vinyl, live & CD reviews a plenty....
Issue 3 Essex punk special: Steve Pegrum, Richard Sandling, Romford Punx, plus Caleb, Club Revolution, fanzine/gig/demo reviews, CD packaging etc...
Issue 4 'The Photography Issue': Reader's photos on the cover, exhibition reviews and profiles of local music photographers, as well as the usual reviews and interviews...
Issue 5 'Happy birthday us!': F451, The Freaks, Devilish Presley, demo/gig reviews, guide to Essex festivals, free badge whilst stocks last!
Issue 6 Weirdgear, BBC Essex Introducing, Tattooed Lady Festival, Noisy Night III report, Sutton With Shopland review, tons of record & live reviews! Buy it here

My Interests

Live music, fanzines, mix tapes, vinyl...

I'd like to meet:

Cool people who make beautiful music. Or, anybody doing music/record labels/promotion/anything else music-related in Essex.

We only feature local bands in our mag, please bear this in mind before asking for a review/contacting us!

***Friends adds*** I'm on dial-up internet which makes myspace a pain to use - please don't be offended if I deny you - I'm trying to keep my friends list low (generally local bands/people I know/artists I adore) so I can keep track of everything easily!
