Honeykill.....fuck yeah!

About Me

"These guys are well worth checking out" NoisyArmed with a fist full of songs, one hundred pounds sterling and an unshakeable sense of self belief, Jimi had travelled from Poole on the south coast, to the Towers and the Smoke that is London, a city he hoped capable of meeting his own ambitions. Finding residence in Highgate, under the shadow of Karl Marx and suicide bridge, Jimi threw together some trusted pieces of recording kit and set to work on the masterplan. The first accomplice, discovered whilst schmoozing the back bar of the Dublin Castle was the evocative Tish. Possessed of a vitriolic glare with the gleam of steel, 'neath trailing waves of jet black hair, her youthful stomping ground had been the graffiti mauled streets of South East London. In her was the rhythm. A classically trained pianist with a true sense of harmony. Initially joining to take care of the samples and string arrangements she turned her attention to the more formidable task of playing deep klonking bass.Over numerous bottles of wine, the band was starting to happen, Jimi's plan was gathering speed. A few talented guitarists, drummers and other musicians played with the ever evolving Honeykill over the following month's, but a final piece of the jigsaw was still needed in the form of a person gifted enough to lay down the beat and take the reins from the samples and loops with which Jimi had initiated the pounding rhythms which was to become Honeykill.Alfonso Tammaro!! The name say's it all. One particularly debaunched night out down in Soho, Alfie wandered up to Tish and proclamed in a thick Sicilian accent, "eh, i wana tryout da drums for you". Somewhat taken aback, Tish found out he had seen Honeykill a while back and had made his mind up to play for them....And play he does.
